Finish Strong is a year-end fundraising campaign at Outward Church. We are inviting everyone at Outward to participate in helping fully establish our church as a Gospel-announcing presence in our community: one church in multiple locations, loving Jesus and living outward.

As we come to the end of the 2022 calendar year, we want to finish the year strong, accomplishing the ministry work to which God has called us in this current season, and poised for unprecedented ministry opportunity in 2023.

1. Create a quality THX 2022 experience in Salem and Silverton. We will be serving 100 families on Thanksgiving (50 from each church location). We are intentionally limiting our scope this year in order to focus our efforts on preparing a generous gift and improving the level of personal connection with those served.

2. "Finish" planting Outward Church Silverton. The work of ministry in Silverton is just beginning, but in order for this location to become fully rooted and flourish as a long-term presence in Silverton, there are several goals that still need to be accomplished. In order of priority:

• Hire a full-time campus pastor for this location.
• Complete some facility upgrades at Gallon House Farms to support an expanded children's ministry program.
• Focus on other staffing investments in the areas of worship and children's ministry.
• Establish a building fund for a more permanent facility.

3. Be prepared for our next church planting opportunity. Outward Silverton came about somewhat unexpectedly. In God's providence, the vision for launching a new Outward location coincided with our ability to finance a new plant. Our financial situation in early 2021 was a large factor in our ability to take advantage of an opportunity that presented itself. Because we were financially prepared, we could move quickly when we sensed God leading us to move. Now that we have seen firsthand the success of this model for reaching our city with a vision for loving Jesus and living outward, we are committed to being prepared when the next opportunity presents itself. We believe that God has called us to make disciples in Salem, throughout the Willamette Valley, and to the ends of the earth - so we're just getting started.

We have structured our campaign in two parts: a target goal, and a dream big goal.

Our target goal, which would position us to accomplish all of the primary objectives above, is $150k.

Our dream big goal would enable us to achieve some goals and long-term strategies that we have previously been unable to consider such as: a more permanent facility, further investments in youth ministry, and expanded opportunities to plant and/or support new locations and churches. Our dream big goal is $300k.
